My parents joined us at the house this weekend to help with a few more projects! The to-do list included: finishing the bathroom downstairs (mudding), mudding the dining room wall, pulling up the carpet on the stairs, repairing some of the stair treads, and weeding outside!
We completed everything! PLUS more! YAY! Thank you to my parents and Lane who worked their butts off. Everything turned out amazing.
First: the red carpet is gone!!! WHOO HOO. It was a pain to tear up the carpet and ALL OF THOSE NAILS & STAPLES! but it was well worth the dirty work.
thankfully they are in great shape underneath. We tore up EVERYTHING (all of the stairs, the landing, and the upstairs hallway) WOOT!
